HARVEST CARE
We believe the Church is called to be present - to serve, to love, to pray, and to bring hope in practical and spiritual ways. Harvest Care serves as the umbrella for our local missions across the Scenic Rim and Logan regions. Each one of these initiatives reflects our heart to see lives strengthened, families supported, and communities transformed through the love of Jesus.
What We Do
-
The Storehouse exists to ease the financial pressures on our local families and strengthen households through accessible essentials.
Operating as a discounted food outlet and op shop, The Storehouse helps supplement everyday expenses for individuals and families doing it tough. By providing affordable groceries, clothing and household items, we aim to relieve some of the stress that can weigh heavily on families in challenging seasons.
More than a place to shop, The Storehouse is a welcoming space where people are me with kindness, a listening hear and a sense of real community. Our team of compassionate volunteers are always looking for ways they can make you feel loved, and leave feeling a little lighter.
Everyone deserves dignity, support and hope - and The Storehouse is one way we extend that tangibly.
-

Sometimes the most effective ministry is simply showing up.
The Meeting Place reflects our commitment to being present in our community - building bridges, sharing the love of Jesus and creating safe spaces for meaningful connection.
-
Through Religious Instruction, trained volunteers bring Biblical teaching into our local primary schools.
We partner with families and schools to share the Word of God in age-appropriate, engaging ways - believing that scripture has the power to shape hearts and lay strong foundations for life.
Our heart is to see children ecnounter God’s love, understand His truth, and grow in faith. We believe that when young pives are anchored in His Word, it impacts not only them, but their families and future generations.
Religious Instruction is an investment into the next generation - sowing seeds of faith, hope, and purpose.
